All orders are subject to product availability and payment verification.
- Standard orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.
- Special-order, customised, or out-of-stock products may require additional processing time.
- Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
Customers will receive an order confirmation once their order has been successfully placed.
2. Shipping Destinations
Fire Detection ships to customers worldwide, subject to applicable export regulations and courier service availability.
If shipping to your location is restricted, we will notify you as soon as possible.
3. Shipping Methods
Depending on the destination, shipment size, and customer preference, orders may be shipped using:
- International Express Courier
- Air Freight
- Sea Freight
- Road Transport (where available)
The most suitable shipping method will be selected based on the order requirements unless otherwise agreed.
4. Shipping Charges
Shipping costs are calculated based on factors including:

- Insurance (if requested)
- Freight carrier charges
Shipping charges will be displayed during checkout or included in your quotation where applicable.
5. Estimated Delivery Time

- Air Freight: 5–10 business days
- Sea Freight: 3–8 weeks

6. Order Tracking
Where available, tracking information will be provided after your order has been dispatched.
Customers can monitor shipment progress using the tracking details supplied by the courier or freight provider.
7. Customs Duties and Import Taxes
International shipments may be subject to:

- Import taxes
- VAT or GST
- Customs clearance charges

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, these charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Fire Detection is not responsible for customs delays or additional import charges imposed by destination countries.
8. Delivery Delays
While we strive to deliver orders on time, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, including:
- Customs inspections
- Adverse weather conditions
- Airline or shipping schedule changes
- Port congestion
- Government regulations
- Natural disasters
- Industrial action or strikes
- Courier operational delays
Fire Detection shall not be liable for delays caused by such events.
9. Incorrect Shipping Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping details.
If an incorrect or incomplete delivery address is provided:
- Delivery delays may occur.
- Additional shipping charges may apply.
- Returned shipments may incur re-shipping fees.
Please contact us immediately if you need to update your shipping information before dispatch.
10. Delivery Inspection
Upon receiving your shipment, you should inspect the package immediately.
If you notice:
- Visible damage
- Missing items
- Incorrect products
- Opened or tampered packaging
please notify both the delivery carrier and Fire Detection within 48 hours of delivery.
Supporting photographs may be required to process your claim.
11. Damaged or Lost Shipments
If your shipment is damaged or lost during transit:
- Contact us as soon as possible.
- Provide your order number and shipment details.
- Submit photographs of the packaging and products (if applicable).
We will work with the shipping carrier to investigate the issue and determine the appropriate resolution, which may include replacement, repair, or other suitable action.
12. Partial Shipments
To minimise delivery delays, Fire Detection may ship available items separately if part of your order is temporarily unavailable.
Customers will be notified if partial shipments are necessary.
13. Delivery Acceptance
Risk of loss and responsibility for the goods generally transfer to the customer once the shipment has been delivered to the shipping address or handed over to the designated carrier, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
14. Refused Deliveries
If a shipment is refused without valid reason:
- Return shipping costs
- Customs charges
- Handling fees
- Storage fees
may be deducted from any eligible refund.
Special-order or customised products are generally not eligible for refund if delivery is refused.
15. Force Majeure
Fire Detection shall not be held responsible for delays or failure to deliver caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Floods
- Fires
- Earthquakes
- Pandemics
- War or civil unrest
- Government restrictions
- Transportation disruptions
- Labour disputes
- Power or communication failures
