Marine heat detectors
Heat detectors are fitted where smoke detectors would give false alarms – galleys, laundries, engine rooms, workshops and other spaces with steam, dust or exhaust fumes. They respond either at a fixed temperature or to a rapid rise in temperature (rate of rise), and some heads do both.

About marine heat detectors
As with smoke detectors, a replacement heat detector must suit the panel and loop it connects to and the temperature class required for the space. Check the manufacturer, model and part number on the label, and the rated alarm temperature, before ordering.
Search by part number, or send us the details from the label and we'll confirm the right part.
