Marine smoke detectors

Smoke detectors are the most common device on a ship's fire detection loop, covering accommodation, corridors, stairways, control rooms and stores. This range covers optical (photoelectric) and ionisation detector heads, including multi-sensor heads that combine smoke and heat sensing.

About marine smoke detectors

Most marine smoke detectors are specific to the fire alarm panel and loop protocol they were built for, so a replacement should match the manufacturer, model and part number on the detector label – including any revision letter. The detector usually twists out of a separate base, which can often be reused.

Search by the part number printed on the detector, or send us a photo of the label and we'll identify the part, its condition and availability in writing.
